Bema Incorporated, a supplier to the flexible packaging industry, is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator and is willing to train qualified candidates. The role involves operating pouch and bag manufacturing equipment in a clean, fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all safety, quality, housekeeping, and AIB requirements.
Review job specifications and set up machines accordingly.
Monitor machine performance and product quality.
Troubleshoot and correct production issues.
Perform minor machine maintenance.
Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
Meet production goals for speed, scrap reduction, and setup efficiency.
Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Dependable and reliable attendance.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Good organizational abilities.
Safety-focused mindset.
Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
Willingness to work overtime as required.
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of standing.
Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling.
