Job Description:
Accent Staffing is hiring a Laser / Brake Press Operator in Tulsa. A typical day is about 25% laser and 75% brake press work in a metal fabrication environment.
What you'll do:- Program, set up, and operate brake presses to form sheet metal
- Set up and operate a CNC laser to cut sheet metal
- Punch metal on a turret press, deburr, and run other fab operations
- Inspect parts with a tape measure, calipers, and protractor
Requirements:- Program, safely set up, and operate CNC and conventional brake presses
- Safely set up, make minor program edits, and operate a CNC laser and deburr
- Operate a time saver; set up and run a turret press
- Read prints, finish specifications, bills of material, routers, and work instructions
- Regular walking and standing; able to lift up to 75 pounds
- A plus: drill press, chop saw, grinders, buffers, PEM machine, and strippit
