Job TitleAssist riggers and crane operators in weight handling operations using overhead cranes, forklift trucks, and railcar movers. Select and install weight-handling gear such as nylon and wire rope slings, shackles, hooks, and chains. Perform the duties of a railroad brake operator/switcher to support railroad operations. Operate forklifts to support crane operations and select and move material. Assist warehousemen in the receipt, storage, and issue of Major Equipment and Components, including identification, packaging/unpackaging, and inspecting material. Use a variety of hand and power tools to load, unload, pack, unpack and other various duties.
