Job Description:
Joliet Staffing is hiring a Logistics Supervisor for a large food distribution center in Minooka, IL. The Logistics Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring products are received, stored, picked, and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Salary: $47,500–$52,000 per year
Schedule: GY, overnight, 10 PM Start time
Position Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily logistics and warehouse activities. Lead, train, and support warehouse employees to meet productivity and quality goals. Monitor receiving, shipping, picking, loading, and inventory activities. Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule. Coordinate workflow and staffing to meet daily operational needs. Monitor inventory levels and assist with resolving discrepancies. Ensure company safety, food safety, and operational procedures are followed. Communicate with management and other departments regarding daily operations. Address employee and operational issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Track productivity and provide updates to management as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or food distribution operations.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety and warehouse safety practices is a plus.
