Broiler and Refrigeration Maintenance Superintendent

Maintenance ManagerResponsibilities: Ensures that all aspects of the company safety policy and procedures are adhered to in the direct and indirect areas of the plantEnsures that all B&E Maintenance Management and hourly employees are trained in the required training programs needed to accomplish all aspects of their jobsWorks with B&E Maintenance managers to ensure that a cohesive atmosphere is maintainedEnsures critical, major, and minor work orders are being completedEnsures that all aspects of the food safety, HAACP, and Government programs are adhered to with an emphasis on the continued compliance to these programsOriginates develops and analyzes methods for determining the reliability of components, equipment, and processesPrepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports for defining Fabrication maintenance problems and makes recommendations for improvementResponsible for maintenance/improvement projects in their areasResponsible for the facility carcass shrinkResponsible for maintenance employees safety, and the safety condition of the facilityResponsible for the maintenance of all ammonia related equipment at the plantResponsible for the plant utility down time for the entire facility (refrigeration, gas, water) And any other duties as reasonablyQualifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years in maintenance management experience or an Associates degree in industrial maintenance with 3 years of maintenance managementMust have a good understanding of the maintenance reliability program (preventive maintenance, work order system, reliability programs, and repair and maintenance budget management) Computer literate, must have understanding and knowledge of Microsoft programs and the working relationship of the programs, i.e. Excel, Word & PowerPointMust have excellent managerial skills and the ability to work closely with fellow team members, peers, and subordinates associated with the above duties as assigned
