Senior Software and AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of production-grade AI agents, copilots, and first-party applicationsTranslate business requirements into technical designs, weighing tradeoffs across functionality, cost, security, performance, and maintainabilityDesign and build web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks, with mobile experiences where neededDevelop scalable backend services, APIs, and event-driven workflows for data processing, orchestration, and automationIntegrate applications and AI agents with enterprise systems such as ERP, HRIS, MRP, DCIM, and data warehouses, directly or through Workato or other middlewareImplement reliable AI workflows, including retrieval, tool use, evaluation, failure handling, and appropriate human reviewOwn production readiness and operational quality: testing, observability, access controls, incident resolution, and performance optimizationBuild reusable components and engineering patterns that speed up delivery across the teamMentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on guidanceUse AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Codex to accelerate development while maintaining qualityPartner with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Security, and Engineering stakeholders to define outcomes and deliver user-centered solutionsRequired Qualifications 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade applications or cloud servicesStrong system design skills, with the ability to architect scalable, reliable, and secure applications, AI agent workflows, and enterprise integrationsStrong proficiency in one or more of TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, or C++, with both frontend and backend experienceProven ability to independently own complex projects from technical design through production deployment and supportStrong experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecturesHands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications using LLM APIs, agent frameworks, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, FastAPI, or Node.jsExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerized deployments, and CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, observability, and operational reliabilityExperience mentoring engineers and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
