Travel RN Med Surg Nurse in Augusta, GAThis Med Surg travel nurse job in Augusta, Georgia, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Doctors Hospital Augusta. This role pays $1,729 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule. As the Med Surg registered nurse on this assignment, you'll prioritize care across a varied medical-surgical caseload, administer ordered medications and treatments, educate patients and families, and manage admissions, discharges, and safe care transitions. Doctors Hospital of Augusta combines general acute care with the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, a major part of its clinical setting. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and Level II trauma services, alongside cardiac catheterization for patients needing heart attack evaluation and treatment. The burn center treats adults and children and includes intensive care beds and dedicated operating rooms. Surgical services include joint replacements, minimally invasive spinal fusion, robotic thoracic procedures and bariatric surgery, supporting a range of postoperative patient populations. Cardiovascular care extends beyond emergency treatment to heart failure, arrhythmias and peripheral artery disease, with both medical evaluation and procedural treatment options. Maternity care includes maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies, labor and delivery, C-section operating rooms within the women's unit and a Level II NICU.
