Associate Veterinarian Algonquin, IL

Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnose illnesses and injuries in companion animals Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings Operate diagnostic equipment, collect laboratory samples, and interpret diagnostic results Provide preventive care services, including wellness examinations and client education Perform surgical and dental procedures as appropriate Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment Counsel pet owners on preventive healthcare, treatment options, and end-of-life care decisions Maintain accurate and complete medical records Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care Ensure compliance with veterinary standards, regulations, and ethical practices
