Beer Garden ManagerReports to: Store ManagerFunction: Direct and manage all functions & activities of the department to achieve exceptional service and performance in the attainment of sales & profit goalsEssential Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible to help meet departmental budgeted targets in sales, purchases, payroll and suppliesCarry out all merchandising programs for the departmentOrder merchandise and control inventorySupervise and provide in depth training for department personnelFollow and enforce all legal requirements for the handling and sale of alcoholInsure that company policies and philosophies are followed and understood by staffPrepare employee work schedules, and approve time cards for payrollMake sure products are priced, promoted, restocked, etc. according to approved proceduresCoordinate the building of displays, signs, and the arrangement of products within the departmentInsure favorable department image with the customersMaintain and submit all required records and reports on a timely basisSupport and promote all corporate sponsored activitiesInterview job applicants to the department and recommend for hireEvaluate job performance of subordinates and recommend for raises, promotions or terminationsPerform all functions of clerks in the department when necessaryPerform other duties as assigned by the store managerMust be at least 18 years of agePhysical Demands: • Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on duty • Lift cases/containers of product up to 50 poundsLocation To Be Determined.
