Producer & Operations Manager

Our Culture: We are looking for people who are professional, helpful, cheerful, and eager to grow in their career and skill set. Our office is a place where creative folks can flourish and have fun. It's a gentle environment. No one will ever yell at you. We don't curse much. We're not very edgy. We just like making nice, creative marketing campaigns with nice, creative people.

About the Role: The Producer & Operations Manager keeps Bennett Creative's productions, new business pipeline, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. Working closely with the CEO, you'll execute across three areas: producing our video projects, managing inbound sales, and handling the administrative operations that keep a growing team organized. On the production side, you are the key Producer. You manage the full production cycle, from pre-production planning and scheduling through on-set execution and client handoff to post. You are the logistical lead on our video projects. On the sales side, you are often the first point of contact for new business. You manage inbound inquiries, support discovery calls, draft proposals, and keep prospective clients moving toward a decision alongside the CEO. On the operations side, you handle the day-to-day work that keeps the business running behind the scenes: coordinating hiring and onboarding, maintaining HR documentation, managing invoicing and bookkeeping support, keeping the refrigerator stocked, and coordinating with our property management.

Budget Management: Build production budgets using the agency's standard rates. Track actuals against estimates and flag potential overages to the CEO early. Creative Collaboration: Work closely with directors, editors, and the social team to ensure productions are set up to deliver content that serves the creative vision and the client's goals. Inbound Management: Respond to all new business inquiries promptly and professionally. You’re often the first impression a prospective client has of Bennett Creative. Discovery Calls: Support and co-lead discovery calls alongside the CEO or Assistant Director. Understand prospective clients' goals, help assess fit, and represent the agency's capabilities confidently. Proposal Development: Draft video production proposals using established templates and standard rates. Translate client needs into clear scopes of work for CEO review and approval. Pipeline Management: Track prospective clients through the sales cycle, from first contact through signed agreement or close of conversation. Keep the PMS current. Client Relationship Continuity: Maintain warm, professional communication with prospective clients throughout the decision-making process. Help bridge the handoff from sales to active production. 3. Hiring & HR Coordination Hiring Coordination: Support the CEO in hiring. Post job listings, manage the candidate pipeline, screen applicants, and schedule interviews so every candidate has a consistent, fair experience. Final hiring decisions rest with the CEO.
