ABOUT THE JOB:
SkyChefs is a global leader in airline catering and aviation logistics. Our drivers help prepare and deliver meals, beverages, and supplies to aircraft at Pittsburgh International Airport. This is approximately 80% catering assembly and coordination and 20% driving.
Responsibilities:- Assemble airline catering carts with meals, beverages, and supplies
- Prepare orders according to airline specifications and flight schedules
- Drive company box trucks equipped with scissor lifts on airport property
- Load and unload catering equipment at aircraft
- Follow airport safety procedures and work as part of a teamREQUIREMENTSAt least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a 7-year background check and drug screen
- Able to obtain SIDA airport security clearance
- Comfortable working at heights and operating elevated truck platforms
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push up to 70 lbs. using rolling carts
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Available for full-time work, including weekends and holidays
- Reliable personal transportation required – facility is not accessible by public transportation
- Willing to participate in random drug and alcohol testing
