Produce Manager

Key Responsibilities: Manage the ordering, receiving, and stocking of fresh produce to maintain optimal inventory levels. Ensure all produce meets quality and freshness standards, minimizing waste and spoilage. Supervise, train, and motivate produce department staff to deliver exceptional customer service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance product presentation. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and resolve any supply issues. Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory and displays accordingly. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to produce quality or availability.

Qualifications: Previous experience in produce management or a related retail supervisory role preferred. Strong knowledge of fresh fruits, vegetables, and produce handling best practices. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Good organizational and communication abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Basic computer skills for inventory and ordering systems.
