The Blumenthal Professor of Religious Studies at UNC Charlotte will serve as a catalyst for interdisciplinary teaching, research, and grant activity in religious studies. The holder will advance the study of religion, pedagogy, and public engagement while teaching a 2-2 load across undergraduate and graduate offerings.
The position is a full-time, tenured or tenure-track appointment beginning 16 August 2027, with potential for associate or full professor rank.
