Job Description: Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy. Makes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated/directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician. Assessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings. Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients. Assesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications. Flexibility to travel to the assignment location. Availability to work the facility's required schedule. Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner. Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care. Also referred to as: renal care technician, dialysis technician, dialysis tech.

Job Requirements: 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis technician Current dialysis certification in good standing (CCHT or BONENT) Current Nebraska state dialysis certification in good standing or you can apply once submitted BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings) ACLS certification required (Acute setting only)
