Downstream Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shift Mendota, IL | $21.00/HRExpress Employment Professionals is partnered with a manufacturing company in Mendota, IL and is seeking a 3rd Shift Downstream Technician to join their team!
Schedule: Train on a 1st shift for 2 weeks2ND AND 3RD SHIFT AVAILABLE
Pay: $19.50/hour base pay$1.50/hour shift differential
Total: $21.00/hour
Job Duties:- Cut scrap material using a reciprocating saw (Sawzall) for a majority of the shift
- Operate power tools including saws and grinders
- Conduct final visual inspections and label finished products
- Track production quantities to help maintain efficiency goals
- Package pipe products according to company standards and customer requirements
- Assist with equipment setup, line changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns
- Follow pipe specifications and packaging requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Consistently wear and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Support continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives
Qualifications:- Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work throughout an 8-hour shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
