Key Responsibilities: In your role as a licensed mental health counselor, you will: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' psychological, emotional, and social needs. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals and monitor client progress through regular evaluations. Provide evidence-based individual therapy using various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-focused therapies. Implement teletherapy options for clients who prefer virtual sessions or face accessibility challenges, ensuring consistent client engagement. Maintain documentation accurately to uphold ethical standards and comply with regulatory guidelines. Participate in regular professional development through workshops, training, and team meetings to enhance your skills and therapeutic approaches. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work with a diverse client base at Barchester Behavioral Center, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Our aim is to create a judgment-free space where clients feel safe to express themselves and work through their challenges. We value culturally competent care and encourage our counselors to integrate clients' cultural backgrounds and experiences into their therapeutic processes.

Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates must possess: A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R).A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. A commitment to empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach towards mental health care. Strong organizational and time-management abilities that facilitate the effective management of client schedules and documentation.

Preferred Experience: While not mandatory, previous experience providing teletherapy and working with a diverse range of mental health issues is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems will be an asset in maintaining client documentation and compliance.

Compensation and Benefits: Barchester Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
