Systems Administrator

Requirements: Required3 to 5 years administering Windows environments in a business setting, including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).Hands-on experience with Intune or an equivalent MDM, Windows Server and Active Directory, and a ticketing system. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, firewall rule logic. PowerShell for administration: you can write and read scripts, not only run them. Clear written communication: tickets, runbooks and change records that someone else can follow. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD security clearance. Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds and work occasionally outside business hours for maintenance windows.

Preferred: Experience in a Microsoft 365 GCC or GCC High tenant, or in another regulated environment (DoD, federal, healthcare, finance).Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171 or a comparable control framework, and with collecting audit evidence. Azure fundamentals: virtual networks, VPN gateways, virtual machines, Log Analytics; any AWS exposure is a plus. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel or another SIEM/EDR pair. Hyper-V, Veeam or similar backup, Cisco switching and wireless, WatchGuard or comparable firewalls, Duo or another MFA platform. Jira Service Management administration; exposure to n8n, Power Automate or similar workflow tools. One or more of: AZ-104, SC-200, AZ-500, MS-102, CompTIA Security+ (Security+ or equivalent will be required within 12 months for the alternate ISSM designation).
