APPLY NOWAllied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Buyer. This temp to hire opportunity offers full time hours. Pay is $30.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase raw materials, supplies, and equipment for a manufacturing company
- Issue purchase orders to vendors
- Work with sales, engineering and production to obtain new or updated material/component prices
- Conduct material audits/cycle counts and monitor inventory levels
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Analyze material and vendor selections to identify cost saving opportunities
- Plan and direct materials management policies and objectives
A minimum of 3 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Microsoft Office experience is required. Experience working in an MRP is preferred. A degree is also preferred.
