Local Contractabout the unit:·Number of Beds - 12 ·Type of equipment – ICU equipment·EMR –Meditech Must have: ·ICU experience·Experience with neuro/stroke patients Preferred or nice to have: ·Neuroscience ICU experience·Experience with Meditech documentation system·Ability to care for 4-5 patients if pulled to neuroscience stepdown unit List typical procedures performed on unit(s):·Ventriculostomy insertion·s/p thrombectomy procedures·s/p TPA administration·s/p tumor resection and biopsy·Lumbar drain and ventric management·Q1 hr Pupillometer monitoring Best personality Fit:·Positive attitude, team player, efficient with time management, accountable, communicates well with the team and managerREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:·BLS, ACLS & NIHSSFloating Area(s):·Within the hospital. Ability to care for 4-5 patients if pulled to neuroscience step down unit Dress Code:·Scrub Color/Attire -navy Weekends and On call:·Every other weekend. No on call
