Hoffman Estates, ILEmployment: Full-Time | On-SiteAbout the Position1 Terra Vita Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Trucking Insurance Service Manager / Senior Account Executive to lead our trucking insurance service operations and manage complex commercial transportation accounts. This is a leadership position exclusively focused on commercial trucking insurance, including motor carriers, trucking fleets, and transportation businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commercial trucking insurance service department.
Oversee complex trucking and fleet insurance accounts.
Manage renewals, policy servicing, endorsements, audits, and claims coordination.
Build relationships with transportation insurance carriers, underwriters, MGAs, and wholesalers.
Review Commercial Auto Liability, Motor Truck Cargo, Physical Damage, General Liability, and related trucking insurance coverages.
Develop standardized service workflows and procedures using Applied Epic.
Supervise and train Account Managers and Client Service Specialists.
Coordinate with producers on account retention, renewals, and client service.
Monitor account performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience.
Direct commercial trucking insurance experience required.
Strong knowledge of trucking insurance coverages, fleet operations, and underwriting requirements.
Active Illinois Property & Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain one promptly.
Experience managing large commercial transportation accounts.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Applied Epic experience strongly preferred.
