Summary:
Operate and setup various pieces of equipment including roll form, drill and tap machines, gasket cutters, and any other pieces of equipment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform average to complex layout work and operate equipment to perform forming operations of variety of parts to normal tolerances.
- Set up equipment, adjust mechanisms, and fixtures as needed to obtain a quality product to specifications
- Sort parts once operation is complete for subsequent operation.
- Must be able to read simple to complex blueprints, bills of material, operation sheets, and work orders.
- May be required to assist press brake operators and CNC laser operators.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Able to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bill of materials Min 2 years experience operating a press brake
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or reach with hands and arms; bend and twist. The employee must regularly lift, pull, and move.
