Boom Truck, Crane Operator

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boom Truck / Crane Operator for a full-time position based out of Staten Island, NY. In this role, you will operate a boom truck to safely load, transport, and deliver materials to various job sites throughout the five boroughs of New York City and New Jersey Schedule

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Based in Staten Island, NY (Deliveries across NYC & NJ. Note: Candidates do not need to reside on Staten Island.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operation & Delivery: Safely operate a boom truck/crane to transport and distribute materials across the NYC 5 boroughs and New Jersey Loading & Unloading: Rig, lift, hoist, and position materials at job sites using proper crane signals and weight distribution practices Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform daily mechanical, safety, and fluid checks on the truck and boom/crane equipment to ensure safe operations Route Navigation: Efficiently navigate urban commercial routes, commercial bridges, and tight job site layouts within the tri-state area Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to OSHA regulations, DOT guidelines, and site-specific safety protocols at all times Documentation: Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery receipts, and equipment inspection records

Certification: Must possess a valid HMO (Hoist Machine Operator) license and NCCCO certification

Driver's License: Must have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B) with a clean driving record

Experience: Proven experience operating a boom truck or commercial crane, preferably in high-density urban environments like New York City
