Job Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong de-escalation skills and experience in behavioral health, medical or dual diagnosis. The position involves caring for adolescents and adults in a 96-bed hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients with mental health needs.
Utilize de-escalation techniques as necessary.
Handle a patient ratio of roughly 1:12 on adolescent and adult mental wellness units, and 1:10 on adult dual diagnosis/SUD units.
Assist with CIWA and COWS as needed.
Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
Certifications / Licensure:- Current RN license to practice in Colorado.
- BLS certification.
