APPLY NOWWe are seeking a reliable Sander to support furniture production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for sanding, prepping, and finishing wooden furniture components to ensure a smooth, high-quality surface prior to staining or assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Sand wooden furniture components using hand tools and power sanders
- Prepare surfaces for finishing, staining, or painting
- Inspect pieces for defects, rough spots, or imperfections
- Follow quality standards to ensure consistent finished product
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and proper equipment usage
- Work closely with production and finishing teams
- Assist with general shop or production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous woodworking, sanding, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with hand and power tools required or strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
