Key Responsibilities:
As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, focusing on improving clients' mental well-being.
Facilitating discussions on emotions and life experiences to foster personal insight and relational understanding.
Acting as a steadfast advocate for clients, assisting them in defining their mental health goals.
Evaluating clients' mental health status and collaboratively developing individualized treatment plans grounded in solution-focused methodologies.
Documenting client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
Patient Population / Client FocusThe clients you will serve are primarily stable adults with low acuity concerns, ensuring a manageable and rewarding counseling experience. Each client is carefully screened before sessions to ensure they align with your areas of expertise and demographic preferences. This focus allows you to concentrate on delivering the best therapeutic outcomes without feeling overwhelmed by severe cases.
Qualifications:- To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
- You must hold an unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of Illinois, such as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
Note:
Limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted. Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Must be proficient with technology and comfortable using digital tools for client interactions.
Preferred Experience:
We recommend that candidates have at least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with diverse populations and presenting problems.
Compensation and Benefits:
Our competitive salary range is USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, based on your experience and hours worked. Additionally, we are pleased to offer the following benefits:
