About BIM SynergisticsBIM Synergistics is a digital construction company specializing in BIM Coordination Leadership and MEP construction detailing for commercial projects across the United States. Our work includes large-scale data centers, hospitals, and other complex commercial projects where quality coordination and project leadership drive the outcomes. We value people over processes. We invest in careers, not just positions. We bring people, technology, and systems together — and we are building the premier team for everything digital in construction management and BIM coordination as we scale across the country.
The Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role. We are hiring an MEP Detailing Manager to lead our detailing team, own detailing production from kickoff through fabrication-ready deliverables, run quality control, and develop Revit detailers. The right person is an experienced detailer with a specialty in electrical, plumbing and piping, or mechanical ductwork with a working understanding of the other MEP trades. You have built fabrication-level models, produced shop and fabrication drawings, and you know how the work gets installed in the field. Communication is a must, as you will serve as the BIM Synergistics lead with the client management and field teams, along with all other project participants. This role will be in the models most of the week and, as the team grows, will shift toward leading production, standards, and people. Our Core Values Technical skill matters. Values alignment matters more. We expect every team member to live these daily:
- Do The Right Thing: Take extreme ownership. Go the extra mile. Be disciplined.
- Be A Servant Leader: Take initiative. Exemplify truth. Stay humble.
- Always Be Learning: Have a growth mindset. Pursue excellence. Fail forward.
- Build Positive Relationships: Put others first. Be encouraging. Communicate effectively. What You Will Own

- Produce fabrication-level models in your specialty trade, assist and manage detailing across all MEP scopes.
- Lead and develop our detailing team, including our production detailers, assignments, standards, deadlines, and training.
- Own quality control on detailing deliverables before they go to the client or the fabrication shop.
- Own the path from coordinated model to fabrication models, including spool sheets, cut lists, BOMs, prefab assemblies, and shop packages.
- Bring continuous improvement to the process, including but not limited to detailing standards, templates, content, and workflows.
- Put constructability and field installation first with routing, hangers and supports, access, clearances, sequencing, and prefab opportunities.
- Partner with our VDC team in BIM coordination meetings, representing our detailing scope and driving conflicts to resolution.
- Communicate directly with clients, GCs, and MEP subcontractors on schedule, status, and issues; escalate early and own the path to resolution.
- Track model progress, issues, and RFIs through Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or similar platforms.
- Be responsible for all model production budgets and resources You Are a Strong Fit If
- You know your trade deeply, can not only model it in full yourself but have led others throughout the process
- You have led detailers, not just worked next to them. You have assigned the work, checked it, and owned the deadline.

- You are proactive in all you do, catching problems before they become an issue.
- You take charge without being told the next step, and you finish strong.
- You are comfortable on calls with clients and trade partners.
- You want to build systems and people as much as the next model.
