Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hours
Every other weekend required
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years of experience in Stroke/Neuro nursing (3 years preferred)
- Valid RN licenseBLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be current at start)
- Passing EKG Test (required at submission)
- Experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry environment
- Flexibility to float to similar units as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting with an emphasis on stroke and neuro cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation
- Accurately document patient observations and interventions
- Participate in scheduled orientation (24-32 hours)
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
