A strong candidate could also be a successful senior salesperson or first-line leader who is already coaching others and is ready to take ownership of a team. We are looking for evidence that you can: Build business through outbound prospecting and field sales Coach salespeople to better results Hold people accountable without avoiding difficult conversations Diagnose where a sales funnel is breaking down Build and inspect a reliable pipeline Forecast credibly Sell based on business value rather than discounting Understand recurring-revenue economics Retain and expand customer relationships Recruit and develop strong people Take responsibility when results miss Restaurant technology, payments, SaaS, hospitality technology, or other B2B experience is valuable but not required. We care more about evidence that you can sell, lead, coach, and build. WHO WILL DO WELL HEREYou will likely enjoy this role if you: Want meaningful ownership rather than a narrow corporate management lane Still enjoy being close to customers and the field Like coaching ambitious salespeople Believe performance standards should be clear and consistently enforced Want compensation that can grow materially when you create long-term value Are comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment Prefer measurable outcomes over internal politics Want to help build a sales organization rather than simply inherit a finished one This position is less likely to be a fit if you primarily want to administer an existing process, avoid direct prospecting, or manage almost entirely through meetings and reports.
