2nd Shift Maintenance Technician-CCP

RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs preventative maintenance on a wide variety of packaging and processing equipment. Specifies parts required. Orders if needed, and makes needed repairs based on PM. Assists with training new and/or less skilled maintenance and production personnel. Troubleshoots basic electrical problems using various test equipment and ladder logic diagrams. Troubleshoots mechanical problems using various measurement equipment and mechanical expertise. Devises, plans, and completes mechanical upgrades, modifications and overhauls Completes changeovers on production lines by following changeover check sheet and recommends modifications to the sheet as needed. Performs routine daily setup and adjustment of all production equipment

PREFERRED: Ability to speak both English and Spanish Experience with Cloud Machine, Liquid Fill Machines, Ribbon Blenders, Bartlets machine and cartoners or other horizontal pouch fill machines. Experience to Food Industrial environment and Good Manufacturing Practices. Must be able to: Lift, carry or move light/heavy loads up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform duties in extreme varying temperatures Crawl over, under and into equipment as necessary to perform job duties Work weekends when plant enters busy season and when needed. Work on floors that are slippery due to water, gelatin, or dust accumulation.
