Job Description:
Aegis is partnered with a well-established printing and packaging manufacturer that specializes in producing high-quality printed materials. They are currently looking to add an experienced Press Operator to their production team. This is a hands-on role responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing presses while ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:- Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications and production schedules
- Monitor print runs and make adjustments to maintain print quality, alignment, and consistency
- Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues to minimize downtime
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments on press equipment
- Read and interpret work orders, production specifications, and job instructions
- Inspect finished materials and maintain accurate production records
- Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and improve efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:- 2+ years of printing press operating experience
- Strong knowledge of printing press setup, operation, and maintenance
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and print quality issues
- Ability to read job orders and production specifications
- Comfortable using measuring tools to verify print quality and alignment
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED required
