Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Power Distribution

Key Responsibilities: Design electrical power distribution systems for industrial and FMCG process plants. Perform electrical power system studies for plant distribution networks. Develop single-line diagrams, elementary drawings, equipment layouts, cable sizing, cable tray layouts, lighting, and grounding designs. Prepare engineering packages, bills of materials, and technical documentation. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and site construction teams. Support UL 508A compliance reviews for electrical control panels. Lead or support IQ/OQ activities and ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards.

Required Skills: Electrical system studies and LV distribution design for process plants. Power distribution panels, MCCs, substations, transformers, 480V systems, and VFDs. Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, UL 508A, IEEE standards, and NFPA 70E.Cable and conduit sizing, lighting calculations, grounding, and cable tray design. Experience developing electrical engineering deliverables and equipment documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Candidates with hands-on industrial/process plant electrical design experience and exposure to US electrical codes.
