Expeditor, Guest Services (Internship)

Expeditor Internship Experience a 3 week - 5 week internship in a luxury resort environment. As an Expeditor you will act as an ambassador of our hotel for all guests by delivering a superior arrival and departure experience. Interact with guests and colleagues on a daily basis, providing courteous and efficient service creating a feeling of welcome. Exceeding guest expectations is the primary responsibility all the while operating within guidelines and procedures established by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment. Ensure a positive first impression of the resort for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control. Try to remember individual's names and their preferences to extend a personalized service Assist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times or when required Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the HotelYour experience and skills include: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
