APPLY NOWTechnical knowledge of super precision rolling element bearing application in high speed rotating equipment is required. Specific experience in machine tool service or machining / grinding is highly desired.
General Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all functions of service facility
- Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians as direct reports
- Coordinate with Midwest Service Center to balance workload and direct repairs to the facility that can perform the repair most efficiently
- Support Sales with guidance and technical expertise to answer questions and provide cost and schedule estimates
- Provide guidance on spindle cause of failure and potential improvements
- Review and finalize spindle evaluation reports - Determine repair costs of both purchased components and repair labor to formulate quotes
- Schedule and assign spindle repairs to Repair Technicians in keeping with their experience and proficiency
- Review and evaluate Final Repair Reports and spindle repairs to ensure that all was completed to standards and spindle will perform for the customer
