State Licensed Commercial Underwriter

Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with retail insurance agencies Evaluate commercial risks and determine marketability and coverage strategy Market submissions to E&S carriers and negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage

Required qualifications: 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or a related role Understanding of commercial insurance risks and coverage, or willingness to learn Strong analytical skills to evaluate accounts and identify solutions Active Property & Casualty license preferred, or ability to obtain one Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
