You might be a great fit if you have:2+ years of public accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multiple tax engagements and client relationships. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a solid foundation in tax preparation, compliance, and financial reporting. Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting workpapers, and related documentation with a strong focus on accuracy. The ability to research complex tax questions, identify potential issues, and communicate practical recommendations. Experience managing competing client deadlines, coordinating deliverables, and maintaining quality across multiple engagements. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with an interest in mentoring junior associates and expanding client responsibilities. Additional experience that will help you stand out: CPA designation or active progress toward licensure, proficiency with professional tax preparation software, and experience supporting client development or advisory initiatives. What you’ll actually DO:Take ownership of assigned tax engagements, coordinating client needs, deliverables, timelines, and day-to-day execution. Prepare and review tax returns and workpapers while identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and quality. Research technical tax matters, evaluate potential implications, and help develop recommendations that bring value to clients. Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and practical problem-solving. Help develop junior associates through coaching, workpaper reviews, technical guidance, and constructive feedback. Work across multiple engagements, balancing deadlines and priorities without compromising the quality of your work. Collaborate with experienced accounting professionals on proposals, client development, and opportunities to expand existing relationships. Continue building the technical expertise, client-facing confidence, and leadership capabilities needed for long-term advancement.
