Austin Water Law Group Associate An Austin law firm with a strong governmental and regulatory practice is seeking an associate to join its water law group, advising public and private clients on water rights, supply, and utility matters.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on water rights, permitting, and water supply issues
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings before state agencies
- Research and draft pleadings, comments, contracts, and regulatory filings
- Assist with water and utility rate and compliance matters
Requirements:
Experience or strong interest in water, environmental, or utility regulatory lawJ.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in TexasStrong research and writing skills Comfort with administrative and regulatory practice
