The IMF's Fund Internship Program (FIP) offers PhD students in economics an opportunity to gain practical research experience at IMF headquarters in Washington, D.C. During the 10 to 12 week paid internship, interns work with IMF economists on real-world policy and operational challenges, develop analytical and programming skills, and build professional networks in an international environment.
