- Mountain Power Electrical is currently seeking an experienced "Traffic Signal Technician."All candidates must adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work is completed efficiently and timely.
- The Traffic Signal Construction tech will work on a crew on various projects building traffic signals, highway and street lighting, infrastructure and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) within Tucson and Southern Arizona.
- Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Reads utility locates, coordinates potholing, and ensures the safety of existing facilities.
- Underground conduit
- Mounting devices
- Installing poles
- Drilling caissons
- Installation of required equipment
- Wiring of equipment
- Trouble shooting and integration of required equipment
- Any other job related duties as requested
Requirements:
- 5 years previous industry experience
- Can operate equipment such as backhoe, bucket truck & boom truck.
- IMSA certification
