Our client in New Mexico is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician for a 15-day assignment beginning Oct 26, 2024. This vital role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including both clinic responsibilities from 8a-5pm, Monday through Friday, and 24-hour call coverage. The physician will manage a variety of cases, from routine and complicated deliveries to office and surgical gynecology procedures, ensuring continuous patient support.

Setting:
Clinic and Call
Patients per Day: 1-5 deliveries per week, average 12 clinic patients per day
Staffing Mix: 2 OBGYNs, 1 PRN APP, MA, RN, and a care manager
EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
Provide 24-hour call coverage
Conduct clinic duties Monday through Friday, 8a-5pm
Manage OB and GYN cases, including FHR interpretation
Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (level 1/screening)
Perform Amniocentesis
Manage routine and complicated deliveries; VBACs preferred
Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
Provide office/minor gynecology and surgical gynecology services

Qualifications
Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
