Surgical Support Aide Surgical Services

Location: Minneapolis, MN (800 East 28th Street)

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM7:30 AM)

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Temporary/Per diem

Certifications: No specific certifications required

Experience: Previous experience with case cart or instrument picking preferred

Pay Rate: $32.88/hour

What You'll Do: Assist in instrument picking for surgical and procedural cases Ensure case carts are accurately stocked and organized before surgery Scan and track instruments and trays for health and safety compliance Replenish supplies and ensure carts are ready for upcoming surgeries Communicate with supervisors about arrival and process requirements Maintain sanitary practices by changing into surgical scrubs, wearing hairnets and shoe covers Return scrubs and supplies following your shift What You Need

Required: Ability to follow strict infection control protocols (scrubs, hairnets, shoe covers) Good organizational skills and attention to detail Badge access to relevant areas or ability to obtain a temporary badge

Preferred: Experience with case cart management or surgical support Familiarity with instrument tracking and inventory systems About the Assignment Join a dedicated team supporting surgical services in a busy hospital environment.
