Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Education Requirements:
Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program License & Certification Requirements An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance. Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:
BSN preferred Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferredKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License (Required Upon Hire) and Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit.
