Explore Portland, ORForest Park trailheads and the International Rose Test Garden sit a short MAX ride from most of Portland's compact neighborhoods, so getting between housing and assignment sites rarely means a long drive. The light rail links those districts without much reliance on a car. Imaging centers and occupational-therapy clinics handle the allied work across the city and out toward Beaverton and Gresham, where a good share of the suburban demand sits. Bike-friendly streets, neighborhood markets, and the city's well-known food carts keep everyday errands simple after a shift. Clinicians tend to like how quickly they can trade a work site for green space, an easy reset that's part of the appeal of a Portland assignment.
