Shift: 1st MON-FRI 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. $13/HRShift 2nd MON-FRI 3:30 - 12:00 a.m. $15/HRSewer Job Description:* Start sewing machinery at the beginning of a shift and test it for proper functionality.* Ensure that all materials and parts are available and gather prior to beginning work.* Address any problems found while sewing* Draw threads through needles and adjust the machine* Position materials under needles to sew them together* Replace and rethread needles* Sew missing stitches or replacement parts in accordance to repair instructions provided* Observe operations to detect any faults or defects* Notify supervisors of any problems or discrepancies during the sewing process* Attach parts as specified in the work order* Ensure that the finished product conforms to the instructions provided in the work order* Ensure that excess material or threads are cut away from the finished product* Trim finished bags using scissors and cutters* Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning and oiling the machine.
