Production Associate Gasser Chair designs and manufactures premium seating for some of the most recognized names in gaming and hospitality, including Wynn, Caesars, Ritz-Carlton, and Hilton. Gasser Chair is hiring a Production Associate to join our Upholstery department. This is not an assembly-line job where you press the same button all day. You will use your hands, tools, and attention to detail to turn chair frames and upholstery materials into finished products used in leading casinos, hotels, and resorts. No upholstery experience is required. We will train the right person who is dependable, takes pride in quality work, and wants to develop a valuable manufacturing skill. You may be a strong fit if you enjoy hands-on projects, working with tools, building or repairing things, automotive interiors, woodworking, sewing, flooring, construction, or any work that requires precision and craftsmanship. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience. As your skills and performance develop, this position offers earning potential of more than $30 per hour.

Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities of this position will include, but will not be limited to:

Build Custom Seating: Apply fabric, vinyl, foam, and other upholstery materials to chair frames.
Create a Quality Finish: Fit, stretch, align, and secure materials so each chair meets our quality standards and customer
Professional Tools: Safely operate staple guns, scissors, mallets, and other hand and pneumatic tools.
Inspect Your Work: Identify material, frame, or workmanship issues before the product moves to the next stage.

Develop Your Skills: Learn advanced upholstery techniques, including top stitching, double-needle work, and product try-ons. Meet Production Goals: Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety. Manage Materials: Keep materials organized and available while helping reduce waste. Work as a Team: Coordinate with the Upholstery Supervisor and coworkers to solve problems and maintain production flow. Improve the Process: Share ideas that could improve safety, quality, efficiency, or material usage. Maintain Your Work Area: Keep tools, equipment, and the workstation clean, safe, and organized.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye to detail and pride in producing quality work. Ability to follow instructions and established production processes. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfort using basic hand or pneumatic tools. Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is preferred. Previous upholstery experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements: The Production Associate position requires standing for up to 10 hours per day and performing repetitive hand and arm movements. The employee must be able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds. The role requires manual dexterity and visual acuity to work safely and accurately with tools and upholstery materials. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Required personal protective equipment must be worn.
