Our client is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of agricultural equipment and related machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to customers in the agricultural industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues on agricultural equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on tractors, loaders, skid steers, attachments, and other farm equipment.
Install new equipment and ensure proper setup and operation for customers.
Conduct inspections and identify potential maintenance needs before failures occur.
Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
Respond to field service calls and provide on-site repairs as needed.
Communicate repair recommendations, parts requirements, and equipment status to customers and management.
Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through professional and courteous service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.2+ years of experience repairing agricultural, heavy equipment, construction equipment, diesel engines, or related machinery.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, diesel, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.#DHIR26
