About the Opportunity:
I’m currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager – Mill & Process on behalf of an established mining business with operations in Idaho. The company is focused on the development of essential metals and is continuing to develop its mining and processing operation.
The position will be responsible for maintenance across the mill and process plant, working closely with Operations to maintain safe and reliable plant performance. They are open to candidates from different commodities, provided they have experience with milling, flotation and process plant maintenance. Experience with plant restarts would be an advantage, with the opportunity to take on broader responsibility as the operation develops.
The Role:
Reporting to the Process Plant Manager, you will lead maintenance activities across the mill and processing facilities. The successful candidate will be someone who is practical, solutions-oriented and comfortable working in a close-knit team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading maintenance activities across mill and process plant operations
Supporting plant reliability, availability and maintenance performance
Working closely with Operations to identify and resolve issues
Leading and developing the maintenance team
Supporting plant restarts and operational improvement initiatives
Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently
Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and plant performance
