The strongest candidate will bring a combination that is not always easy to find: Operational depth. Analytical strength. Customer credibility. Business acumen. This is a strategic account leadership role requiring far more than relationship management. The person selected will develop a deep understanding of the customer, operations, performance commitments and business priorities, then use that knowledge to anticipate risk, identify opportunity and influence decisions across a complex organization. The opportunity is for someone who does not simply manage an account, but learns the business behind it and helps make it stronger. Direct 3PL / contract logistics experience is essential to success in this role and within the organization.
Requirements:
- Direct experience within 3PL / contract logistics supporting complex fulfillment, distribution or supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business or a related discipline required. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated success in complex, high-volume operations. Multi-site experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of fulfillment operations, including labor, productivity, service, systems, KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and risks, challenge assumptions and translate findings into business action.
- Experience working with contracts, customer commitments, scope, service requirements and the commercial implications of operational decisions.
- Proven ability to investigate complex problems, determine root cause and drive resolution across multiple functions.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills with the confidence to articulate and support a point of view with customers and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
- Working knowledge of WMS and familiarity with the technology, reporting and automation supporting modern fulfillment operations.
