Orthopedics Surgeon (Total Joint)

Overview: Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our staff.

The division is looking for a surgeon with fellowship training in total joint arthroplasty to support the focused service line for hip and knee replacement surgery. Bassett is committed to building a superior center for total joint replacement in the upstate New York region. The position does require participation in general call coverage Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. General Orthopedic Call Required 1:9 days - Dedicated Hospitalist for weekday coverage, shared call with whole Physician group - APC 1st call system in place Joint Replacement Center located at AO Fox Hospital, a 40-bed acute care hospital Referral Base of over 150 Primary Care Clinicians Full Support Staff including APC's with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction
