General Manager

Role Overview: The General Manager (GM) oversees all operational, financial, sales and manufacturing activities for our building material fabrication facility. This role is responsible for leading a team across production, safety, logistics, design engineering, sales and customer service. The GM will maximize plant throughput, maintain strict quality control, and ensure profitability while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Operational Leadership & Production Efficiency: Direct daily plant operations across all departments, including scheduling, material handling, fabrication, and shipping. Implement production metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and optimize capacity utilization, labor efficiency, and material yield. Oversee the manufacturing of specialized building components. Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and optimize plant layout. Financial & Business Management & SalesManage the facility's Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, operational budgets, capital expenditures (CapEx), and labor costs. The GM will be responsible for building long‐term relationships with key accounts throughout the market. Partner with the procurement team to optimize inventory levels, manage raw material supply chains and control input costs. Analyze market trends and production capacities to support sales strategies and accurate client estimation models.

Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance: Champion a "Safety First" culture, ensuring absolute compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and environmental laws.

Team Development & Talent Management: Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high‐retention work environment. Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of operational management experience in building material manufacturing, structural component fabrication or a closely related industrial manufacturing environment. Financial Acumen: Direct experience managing a facility budget, optimizing P&L, and conducting cost/benefit analyses. Base Salary: $150,000 - $200,000

Bonus: $30,000 - $80,000 based on company performance, sales growth and annual profit.
