APPLY NOWThe OPS Environmental Specialist I assists with the Division of Waste Management's Waste Reduction Recycling Program in Tallahassee, Florida. Responsibilities include processing registration applications, providing customer support, entering and verifying data, coordinating documents for scanning, and preparing invoices and correspondence. This is a part-time position of up to 29 hours per week that requires a self-motivated individual able to perform multiple duties while applying state and federal regulations.
Key qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; or any combination of post-secondary education or verifiable related experience for a total of two years
Valid driver license
Skilled in Microsoft Office and personal computer software
Ability to collect, evaluate, and enter data; maintain database systems
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, policies, and technical data
